Till ("the app", "we", "us") is a shared countdown app made by NTP Co. We built Till to collect as little personal information as possible. This policy explains what we handle and how.
To use Till you may enter: a display name, a chosen color, an optional profile photo, and an optional city/time zone (used to show your local time and distance on shared countdowns). You also create countdown content — titles, dates, emoji, photos, notes, mood check‑ins, and plan items.
This information is stored in your personal iCloud account via Apple's CloudKit. It is associated with your Apple ID and governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. We, the developers, do not operate a separate server that stores your countdowns or profile.
When you pair a countdown with someone, that specific countdown (and its content) is shared with them through Apple's CloudKit sharing so it can appear on both devices. Only the countdowns you explicitly share are shared, and only with the person you invite.
To understand how features are used and to improve the app, Till uses privacy‑conscious analytics (Amplitude). These events are anonymous and bucketed — for example, whether a countdown is shared or solo — and are designed to contain no personally identifying information (no names, no photos, no countdown titles, no contact details).
With your permission, Till sends local and push notifications for reminders, milestones, surprises, and "thinking of you" nudges from your person. You can disable notifications any time in iOS Settings.
If you add a photo to a countdown, Till accesses the image you choose (with your permission) and stores it in your iCloud. If you allow calendar access, Till may read events only to suggest dates — it never modifies your calendar.
You control your data. You can delete any countdown or your profile inside the app at any time. Deleting the app and/or removing Till data from iCloud removes the associated content. To request help with deletion, contact us at the address below.
Till is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your region), and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "Last updated" date.
